Brunch @ Le Pain Quotidien

Being a student in New York City can be exhilarating and exhausting. From the heavy work load from school, to the daily tasks and obstacles, NY is a rough city and that is why it's perfectly okay to grab some brunch in the middle of the week with a friend and take a breather to enjoy some delicious food! One of my close friends and I (Lidya) decided we would take a quick break between our classes and go to one of my favorite places to brunch/lunch. Le Pain Quotidien has a very homey and rustic feel. It was founded in the 90's by a Belgian chef named Alin Coument . The menu has a variety of options, most of which are organic and have a wide variety of items for you vegans out there! Each item on the menu has the calorie count right next to it so it makes it easy for those who are watching what they eat to make healthy choices when ordering! I ordered "The Seasonal Egg Frittata," which contained squash, goat cheese and scallions, it was delicious! And it came with a salad topped with a light vinaigrette dressing and of course their organic bread from the bakery! If you live in NYC, I'm sure you've spotted this place on every corner as if it was a Starbucks. The food at Le Pain is sure to satisfy your tastebuds and it's defiantly worth trying!
