Although a bit costly, we are both inspired by the overall aesthetic of The Apartment.      In honor of our 1 year anniversary of The Golden Flick, we had a celebratory lunch at Novo located in Ridgewood. This town is known to have the best restaurants in New Jersey, varying from Asian food to Italian to American and even to Mediterranean. For today's lunch, we both craved a Mediterranean taste so we decided to try Novo for the first time. The ambiance and decor of this restaurant is calming and modern and the presentations of the food make it even better! 

We decided to order the Branzino à la Plancha which was situated over vegetables and covered in a lemon sauce as well as the Mediterranean Grilled Chicken salad that was made up of baby spinach, cherry tomatoes, radish, red onions and a lemon vinaigrette.  We also had to order fries to share, it's sort of become a tradition to do so, since we do this almost everywhere we eat together.  It was defiantly a good decision because the fries were so fresh and crisp and so satisfying, especially paired with the special dipping sauce.

Everything we ate was fresh, fulfilling, appetizing and tasty! The portions were ideal and the service was great, so overall this 7 month old restaurant is a must try if you're in the mood for a Middle Eastern meal.

I was inspired by the 70s fashion trend for this outfit since this decade is making a comeback on the runway with floral floor length dresses to fringe jackets and even to flared blue jeans. I wore my own pair of flared jeans with a Gypsy Warrior biker tee and a leather jacket, giving this look an element of rocker-chic. As for shoes, I decided to go for something a bit formal. An all black look is one of my favorites since it's sophisticated, elegant and modern all at the same time. This Zara skirt is one of the best purchases I've made since it can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. But since a leather skirt is a statement piece itself, in order to make this outfit subtle, I paired it with a simple black v-neck tee. Although it's still cold outside (sadly), I wore open toe sandals made by my favorite shoe designer, Schutz Shoes! These sandals are so minimal and stylish and can be worn with almost any type of outfit and that's why I love them! Shop my look below:

     For this look, I kept it fairly simple and comfortable. Most of my traveling for the day took place indoors so there was no need for a thick coat therefore I paired my faux fur collard moto jacket with a plain turtle neck. I wore grey BDG jeans, which are made up of unique seamlines all across the front and back and the gold ankle zippers add something a bit edgy to this simple outfit. As for shoes, I wore my favorite pair for this season, which are my Vagabond boots!
