This past Tuesday, I had the chance to attend Polyvore's biannual NYC meet up with Dolce Vita and Eva Chen! I didn't know what to expect but it was a very well planned day. First, 20 or so of us Polyvore members met up for breakfast at Maman. which is located in SoHo (the quiche and blueberry bread were absolutely delicious). Afterwards, we walked over to the Dolce Vita showroom where we sat through a fireside chat with Lucky Magazines' editor-in-chief, Eva Chen! It was an honor to hear her life story and to hear about what inspires her daily personal style, since she's such an icon in the fashion world. Following the chat, we ate lunch, had our nails painted by Miss Pop Nails, listened to the Brooklyn-based band Fort Leon perform and met Dolce Vita's creative director, Megan Key. She talked about Dolce Vita's new collection, previous collections and where they found inspiration for their upcoming Fall collection, which is Morocco themed! It was exciting to hear about what inspires others and where they look to to get ideas for either their collections or their closets. Look below to see pictures from the meetup!
