During our hunt for a new place to grab brunch in the Lower East Side, we came across Little Rascal. The list of options on the menu looked oh so familiar and reminded us of home, since this quaint restaurant has a variety of Mediterranean dishes, whether that be for breakfast or dinner. For brunch, we ordered a Simit Plate, Menemen and Eggs with Sucuk. Simit is basically the Mediterranean version of a bagel but with less dough and topped with a lot of sesame seeds. It came pressed like a panini with melted cheese, olive spread and tomatoes. We also ordered Menemen, which is a Mediterranean take on scrambled eggs but filled with veggies and spices (bread is a must while eating this dish!). Lastly, we also got the Egg with sucuk, which is the Mediterranean sausage, and it's known to be the perfect pairing with eggs. Everything tasted delicious and fresh so definitely try out Little Rascal if you're in the mood for something different!

This is probably one of my favorite newest trends - colored fur. It's been seen in recent fashion shows, on the streets and definitely in the windows of different stores. Whether it be faux or real, colored fur adds emphasis to any outfit. As seen above, I kept the rest of my look very basic so that the focus could be on the vest. A burgundy wine color like this is dominant yet still mixes with neutral tones, so I chose to match it with taupe sandals and a beige snakeskin clutch. An outfit like this, or any with either a fur vest or jacket, is ideal for a night out. If you want to go more casual with outerwear like this, you can easily throw on jeans, ankle boots or even sneakers. Shop my look below!
Another monochrome look! Whenever I'm running errands or don't feel like getting too dressed up, I love throwing on black ripped jeans and a cropped tee. It's such an easy look that still looks put together. Since the temperature in New York is going all the way down to 50 degrees every night, I threw on a leather jacket to give me some warmth. To keep the black and white throughout my entire look, I wore monochrome Nike roshes. Shop everything below!
