Whether it be thigh high boots, statement fur coats or cut out silk dresses, through the FW 2016 collections, it was all debuted. Each designers' show had a different vibe yet each collection made us wish that Fall would come sooner, (Spring first though).
Last week, I had the opportunity to attend two NYFW shows: Marissa Webb and Cushnie et Ochs. Both collections were to die for and both had completely different energy throughout the entire show. Marissa Webb mixed grungy plaids with crisp skinny suits whereas Cushnie et Ochs mixed clean lines with various fabrics, such as velvet and silk. Webb's collection incorporated a ton of layering, which is ideal for consumers since they can purchase parts of each look and make it their own. Cushnie et Ochs created pieces that would be perfect for a night out since they had options ranging from jumpsuits, midi dresses, gowns or even a skirt/crop top combo.
The entire ambiance of both shows was amazing and being one of the few to see the collections first was an honor! Look below to browse through a few pictures from the shows!
