Stitched Up
Wednesday, July 13, 2016
During the summer, I tend to wear an excess amount of denim. Even though it can be on the thicker side, there's something so easy going about the material plus it can be dressed up or down.
Instead of wearing a typical denim dress, I sported one which was taken to the next level with its unique stitching embellishments as well as the mix of light and dark tones. The boxy shape of the dress allows it to be free flowing and the material on this garment has a dense quality to it, making it perfect for a breezy night, yet still comfortable on a hot summers day.
Due to its simplicity, this garment gives a lot of room for accessorizing. If you throw on a pair of white high top converse and dainty hoop earnings, the look can transform into a cool yet effortless one. Switch sneakers out for some wedges and you'll be set for a semi formal occasion! All and all, you can't go wrong with a denim garment as long as you stay to true to what fits you best styling wise!
