1 Jean, 2 Ways

Everyone always says that a major staple in a women's closet is the perfect skinny black jean. While I totally agree with that statement, I also feel that a perfect skinny white jean is necessary and useful, especially in the summer months.

White is a classic, timeless and classy color, so why shouldn't we wear more of it, especially in one of the most comfortable and versatile garments: jeans! While we're getting dressed in the morning, we don't really think to pair a cool tee or a statement blouse with white jeans. We either pick a classic black pair or a specific washed denim.

However, instead of throwing on my classic pair of jeans that I normally would wear with any top, I chose to stick to a white (old) pair and for this outfit post, I wore two different tops with the same pair of trousers and the same boots. This way, you can see how just a different top can change the look of a staple item as a full outfit!

A simple black turtleneck tank paired with white jeans looks clean, modern, sophisticated and mature. So simple, yet really iconic. This is more of a Fall vibe, and if you pair a similar look with red boots or cool sneakers you can make it more interesting!

I would normally pair a top like this with black jeans because well, it's simple and cool. But with a gray tank like this, the white jeans bring out the white in the mixture of colors in the woven fabric so for warmer days, the white jeans brighten up this look! Perfect for summer nights where it's not too hot yet not too chilly. Shop below:
