About a couple of months ago, I was able to go to Sorel's Fall/Winter Collection launch event in downtown NYC. After looking through their amazing collection, I knew I had to get my hands on these boots. The Medina 3 is the ideal rain shoe/heeled boot all in one. Although it looks pretty high (and it is), it is by far the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever worn! Since they're made of rubber, they're easy to walk in plus, they can handle any weather condition, such as rain or snow. The full look is rather simple, since I just paired black jeans with a lilac colored turtleneck, but overall this outfit can be worn throughout the day or even while out to a casual dinner. It has been oddly warm this past week, especially since it's so late in December. It's a bit concerning for our environment but when it comes to dressing, I have no complaints. I still kept covered up for this look because...well, it is December. Variations of different shades of browns have been very on trend this season, probably due to the wave of the 1970s fashions, like the ones we experienced over the summer and beginning of Fall. I paired a simple black dress with a statement cardigan and suede cross-body purse. Comfort is really key for me when I'm picking out an outfit, since I'm usually running around all day. However, I still like to feel confident in what I'm wearing therefore comfort with style is the key motto!

I tend to somehow always incorporate menswear in my day-to-day outfits. Over the past year, I've realized that I'm more attracted to oversized coats, sportswear and sneakers. I used to be that girl who'd be online shopping for high heels or sandals, but now I'm that person looking up the coolest sneakers around. Luckily, I found these white high-tops on sale (score!) and I've been wearing them non-stop since the day they came in the mail. I've received tons of compliments and I guess it's due to the fact that they're so minimal yet still a statement.
For this outfit, I wore leather leggings, a white tee and an oversized grey coat. To add some feminine aspect to this outfit, I wore a Free People lariat necklace that Lidya actually bought for my birthday (thanks girl). Shop my look below!
As some of you may know, Chanel holds an annual Metiers d'Art Fashion Show which "highlights and honors the exquisite European craftsmanship which goes into the Chanel collections, specifically on the house-owned brands that specialist in certain areas of crafts," (Instyle.com). This year the show was held in Rome and the silhouettes and construction of the garments in this collection have a 1960's-esc aesthetic. The pieces were made up of a variation of embellishments, beading and knit work and the overall collection has a lot of variety regarding textile design and color tones. Check out some of our favorite looks from the show below!

The beauty that will forever be classic; white on white. In Vogue Mexicos' November 2015 issue, fashion photographer Dean Isidro decided to photograph supermodel Devon Windsor in a color scheme that was bright and crisp by mixing white clothing with a white horse, with a background of a serene beach area.
Contrary to common belief, white is actually okay to wear after Labor Day. That rule, that should've never been created in the first place, is abided by many. However, this editorial shows that mixing this light color in winter clothing is doable and lovely. You can wear a thick white sweater with white pants or instead you can choose to wear a dress and mix it with an oversized white wool coat. Whatever you do, know that the light color palette is wearable all year round, even if people say otherwise.
